Description We''re looking for an experienced Risk Specialist AI to join our dynamic Insights & Analytics team. This crucial role sits within our Risk, Compliance & Controls Enablement (RCCE) function and is pivotal in guiding and supporting the identification, treatment, and management of AI-related risks. You''ll play a key part in maintaining and enhancing information and data security for RACQ, contributing to the overall uplift of our risk management capability and culture. This role offers a unique chance to provide advisory services, training, and coaching on AI risk management practices to Data, Digital and Innovation staff and other RCCE teams. You''ll collaborate closely with Line 2 and other Line counterparts, ensuring our risk and compliance outcomes align with organisational objectives and the Chief Transformation Officer''s accountabilities. Your depth of knowledge, industry experience, and subject matter expertise will be invaluable to the risk team, and you''ll provide leadership support to the Manager Digital, Data & AI Risk as required. Key responsibilities include: Guide the identification, treatment, and management of AI-related risks to safeguard RACQ''s information and data security. Actively promote and uplift risk management behaviours and AI risk awareness across the organisation through coaching and training. Ensure adherence to AI policies and procedures, including comprehensive reporting on AI risk and related issues. Build strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (DDI, Technology, Group Risk) and external parties to align risk and compliance outcomes. Provide specialist advice on AI risk, conduct assessments, and oversee control testing within RACQ''s risk frameworks. You''re a seasoned risk professional with a passion for Artificial Intelligence and a strong understanding of its associated risks. You''re a natural collaborator, an excellent communicator, and someone who thrives on driving positive change and uplift in risk maturity. About you: Demonstrated experience in risk management, with deep knowledge of AI risk, governance environments, and practical understanding of Australian privacy laws and regulations. experience working with APRA standards (e.g., CPG 235 Managing Data Risk) and other data/security standards, with the ability to apply them to emerging AI risks. Strong ability to analyse complex data, draw insights, provide recommendations, and communicate effectively with all levels of an organisation. Exceptional skills in building and maintaining effective working relationships, coupled with the ability to influence and guide others in risk assessment. Proven subject matter expertise, capable of leading initiatives, driving improvements in risk maturity, and navigating organisational change. Why join RACQ?
