Job Description Portfolio Manager opportunity at a leading General Insurance Software vendor in the Sydney CBD. Due to increasing client demand for their SaaS solutions and internal promotions, they are looking for a Portfolio Manager. This role will manage 6 client-facing Delivery Managers. The company are well-known for its collaborative, professional, and down-to-earth team culture. Responsibilities: Portfolio Management & Delivery Excellence Oversee a growing portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, profitability Client Engagement & Pre-Sales Supervise and support Delivery Managers during the pre-sales process, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project scope. Leadership & Team Development Build performance teams, upskilling Delivery Managers on delivery, client relationships and how to coach and mentor Humanistic-Encouraging style leadership understanding team motivators and people feel through change Influence culture and firm in setting boundaries to behaviour Benefits: CBD offices Hybrid working permanent role with career opportunities Essential experience: 7 years of end-to-end software implementation Project Management 4 years Portfolio / Program Management MUST HAVE Client Facing experience from a Software Vendor, Consulting or System Integrator MUST HAVE experience building high-performance delivery teams with Humanistic-Encouraging style leadership Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, ideally PMP Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills Desirable experience: General Insurance Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, or Scrum Master
