The role: The ServiceNow Developer delivers enterprise workflow solutions and provides technical guidance for business initiatives. They challenge the status quo and advocate for continuous improvement of enterprise workflow systems. Responsibilities include planning and implementing changes to enhance performance, developing and supporting the organisation''s enterprise systems, and ensuring these systems are available, secure, resilient, and scalable for future needs. Assist in the design, development, implementation, and support of ServiceNow Workflow solutions. Develop expertise to support enterprise-wide delivery. Identify and resolve issues to improve performance and ensure compliance with security policies and standards. Maintain knowledge management for sustainable solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders and external suppliers. Champion the workflow solution and perform relevant activities as needed. Contribute to team development through training and knowledge sharing. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for platform reliability, scalability, efficiency, and security. Ensure end-to-end ownership and innovation of workflows. Collaborate with Cloud Platform & Development teams to automate deployment and maintain integrations. Implement monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues proactively. Provide specialist technical support as a Subject Matter Expert. Maintain and improve the Workflow knowledge base and procedures. Share knowledge and train team members. Ensure compliance with company policies and complete mandatory training. Adhere to security policies, industry standards, and regulations. What experience youll bring: Understanding of workflow and process modeling; quick to learn new technical skills. Focused on business outcomes and solving complex challenges collaboratively. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and testing skills; adept at learning new technologies. Logical thinker with knowledge of agile frameworks; focused on delivery and customer service. Responsible for delivering outcomes and contributing to a high-performing team culture. Good interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse groups and building relationships. Strong project management skills; able to balance multiple projects under pressure. Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to articulate technical solutions to business stakeholders and technical teams. Capable of self-managing and prioritising activities across multiple initiatives. Experience in system development, administration, operations, support, or solutions implementation with relevant qualifications or certifications. Detailed understanding of platform knowledge/content features; familiar with JavaScript, CSS, Jelly, JSON, Angular. Foundational understanding of key technologies for ServiceNow integration, including SSO, SAML, SSL, REST Web Services.
