About the role: The role of Relationship Manager will be to work in partnership with a Relationship Director and any additional RA support to deliver on our distribution strategy through: a) assist the RD with the lending strategy, preparing the credit analytics and servicing as well as actively managing new deals through the various stages of the lending process in the home, investment & commercial lending space b) assist the RD with maintaining and retaining existing relationships, including helping with managing the retention strategy for the client base The role will be responsible for supporting sales & growth targets whilst providing exceptional client service to our core client base Key accountabilities for this role include: Help build client relationships to assist with their overall lending needs, manage each transaction from application to settlement, including lending strategy, credit approval, documentation and settlement process. Assist with the implementation and ongoing development of the client retention strategy, including Marketing Strategy (client retention KPI). Work alongside any admin support and provide any mentoring and coaching required. Help manage relationships with new and existing clients leveraging and aligning internal resources to maximise client satisfaction and retention. In conjunction with clients accountants, proactively work with clients to understand financial objectives and help implementing plans to realise these objectives. Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to ensure efficient progress of each transaction (including feedback to all stakeholders and clients on the progress of each application.) Assist with maintaining and retaining an existing network of clients. To be successful you will have: Degree Preferable Cert IV in mortgage broking and finance broking Relevant work experience, ideally in sales or processing roles within broking businesses, banks or other financial services companies Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and high expectations in a pressurised environment Place the client at the centre of everything you do. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes for you and your team to deliver to our customers Strong client relationship skills coupled with a strong client service ethic and prior maintenance of an existing book Prior knowledge of the banking or broking industry, the Australian residential and commercial lending market and the regulatory environment Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, credit writing skills and approval standards Excellent attention to detail Strong organisational skills and effective time management Why work at Avant?
