Job Description About this opportunity We are seeking a passionate and proactive HSES professional to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact by connecting site-level operations with divisional and group-level HSES initiatives. Youll play a key role in implementing our Group HSES Systems while ensuring compliance with all relevant Australian health, safety, environmental, and sustainability standards. This position supports two of our sites Wacol & Sumner park Your key responsibilities will be to: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective corrective actions. Provide expert guidance and support to both management and team members on all HSES matters. Lead thorough and timely incident investigations, ensuring compliance with Australian legislative requirements. Stay up to date with changes in legislation and industry standards, updating policies and procedures accordingly. Design and deliver engaging training programs to build awareness and capability in HSES practices across the workforce. Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, youll have: Proven experience in HSES management within a manufacturing or industrial environment in Australia. Strong knowledge of Australian HSES legislation and best practices. Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret data to drive continuous improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the confidence to lead cross-functional teams. Experience in risk assessment and incident investigation methodologies. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Qualifications A Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Sustainability, or a related fieldor equivalent practical experience. Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety is highly regarded. Additional training or certifications aligned with Australian manufacturing standards (e.g., WHS Act, AS/NZS ISO 45001:2018) are advantageous. Additional Information Why Join Us?
