Account Manager Plastics Location: Clayton, Melbourne VIC Full Time At Visy we are proud to provide innovative, sustainable packaging solutions that support our customers growth while contributing to a better world. The Opportunity Were looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to lead and grow our Plastics packaging portfolio in Victoria. Based at our Clayton office but also covering our other sites, this critical role manages key customer relationships and drives business development across the food, beverage, and industrial sectors. Youll be a strategic partner to your customers, focused on delivering value-led solutions that align with Visys sustainability goalsparticularly in promoting the adoption of recycled plastics. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative commercial team and make a tangible impact across one of Visys most innovative divisions. What Youll Do Manage and grow existing accounts to achieve revenue and margin targets Identify and convert new business opportunities in key market segments Drive sustainable packaging initiatives through recycled plastics Collaborate across internal teams to execute projects and support customers Provide accurate forecasting and reporting using CRM tools Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights for growth What Youll Bring 5 years in sales or account management in packaging or a related B2B sector Proven success in revenue growth and strategic customer management Strong knowledge of the Victorian market and packaging trends Experience with solution-based selling and sustainability-driven value propositions Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related field Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, SAP, or VRM) What Youll Love When You Join Us The chance to shape sustainable outcomes in the packaging industry A collaborative culture that supports career development and growth The ability to make an immediate impact with a leading packaging innovator Access to cross-functional teams and national career opportunities When you join us, youll be required to meet Visys employment criteria, including a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.
