Role and Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant , you will play a key role in providing support to both students and teachers in the classroom. Your key responsibilities will include: Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to students needs. Providing one-on-one or small-group support to students who require additional help. Supporting classroom management to ensure a positive and structured learning environment. Preparing learning materials and resources in collaboration with teachers. Helping students develop confidence, independence, and key academic skills. Assisting with administrative tasks, such as marking, record-keeping, and setting up learning spaces. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities: A Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or equivalent qualification). Literacy Teacher Aide, exposure/experience with MacqLit desirable A strong understanding of the NSW curriculum and classroom support strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents. A genuine passion for education and student development. A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC). Full Australian working rights.
