About this role Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services across the Southern Region of Sydney. D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. We are looking for experienced Skilled Labourers to join their expanding team to deliver excellence across the Southern Region. Primary Purpose : To assist and perform specialized tasks in the construction and maintenance of newly constructed civil projects in our Networks and Treatment spaces. To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following: Demonstrated minimum 2 years'' experience in Civil Works Demonstrated experience in Civil Works (water; wastewater; underground infrastructureSector) Be able to work as part of a team Be trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in your workwith a can-do attitude Have extensive experience with use of hand power tools Current drivers licence essential Have a WHS General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card) Physically fit and healthy and able to do manual labouring work Desirable skills and Qualifications: (HR, HC or MR - highly desirable) Experience working with Tier 1/2 construction companies or similar Traffic Management, Confined Space, Working at Heights Experience with working around mobile plant and equipment Previous experience working on Sydney Water Projects Key Accountabilities: Professional and courteous customer service capabilities to engage with customers on-site Problem solving skills, attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team, to achieve contract goals and objectives. Operating Monday to Friday 7am start - 40 hours per week, you will also support capital work projects.
