Position Description At Carers Queensland we are seeking an experienced, passionate, and qualified Trainer & Assessor to take a lead role in providing high quality training to our Community Services students and help shape the future of care. You will provide high-quality, engaging and practical training, through delivery of interactive online training, practical face-to-face sessions (various locations), as well support student with site visits during placement and contribute to the on-going development and enhancement of our curriculum. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Deliver training and assessment services online and face-to-face including evening classes (as required) Conduct support sessions with students and regularly contact student cohort to provide support and feedback to all students to ensure successful completion of study Monitor, mark and conduct student assessments Conduct site visits with students on vocational placement to provide support and conduct student assessments where applicable Plan, review and improve training and assessment materials, including participating in assessment validation/moderation for continuous improvement Engage with students on digital applications and log all student contact on Student Management System Assist in the undertaking of Recognition of Prior Learning processes where applicable Maintain current knowledge of the VET industry and standards What''s in it for you, you ask? Do you? Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor qualification. Have a minimum Diploma in Community Services. Have at least 2 years relevant industry training experience. Have evidence of industry currency within the last 12 months. Have high-level communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport quickly and adapt skills according to the audience or target group involved How to Apply?
