Job Description CNC Operator Structural Steel Location: Cranbourne West Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm 10:00pm $35 - $41 Super | Full-Time Do you want to be part of multimillion dollar projects? We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator with experience in heavy structural steel to join a busy and well-equipped fabrication workshop. This is a full-time afternoon shift position, working with precision machining and cutting equipment to support structural steel production. Whats on Offer Full-time permanent position 40 hours per week on a fixed afternoon shift Competitive salary Secure and supportive workshop environment Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling, and grinding Interpret engineering drawings and convert specifications into production tasks Select materials and oversee machining processes Assemble metal components and perform occasional welding as required Use precision instruments to inspect and measure at key production stages Cut, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic components Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance Maintain OHS standards and ensure workplace safety About You Relevant vocational or higher engineering qualification Minimum 5 years of CNC experience Able to work independently in a small team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Effective communicator both verbal and written If you are ready for a new challenge in a company working on multimillion dollar projects and have all the experience then we WANT to hear from YOU!
