The role: As a Tenancy Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the tenancy delivery process from concept through to completion for a major retail client partner. This involves driving high quality outcomes, highlighting opportunities during the approval process, and adopting and ensuring compliance. You will need to be flexible and adaptable to resolve complex issues, leveraging your expertise and knowledge to oversee the process in alignment with the Tenancy Design Guide and Fit Out Manual. A key part of the role is ensuring all stakeholders meet their commitments within established timeframes and budgets while upholding safety standards on site. Key responsibilities: Ensure tenant fit-out timelines align with the centre''s opening targets and lease commencement dates. Monitor fit-out compliance with approved designs and quality standards throughout the construction process. Conduct final inspections and ensure all necessary certifications, such as occupancy certificates, are obtained prior to tenant opening and manage resolution of defects. Act as the primary liaison between retailers, leasing teams, and centre management, facilitating communication to align expectations and resolve issues. Manage the delivery of Landlord Works through to completion within the agreed timeframe and budgets. Ensure all on-site works comply with Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), relevant legislation, contractor qualification/induction requirements, and shopping centre guidelines. Offer post-handover support to address tenant concerns or operational teething issues that may arise. Who are we looking for? Minimum of 5 years experience in managing large-scale retail or commercial fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of tenancy design and fit-out processes, including design guidelines and sustainability practices. In-depth understanding of Australian building codes, accessibility standards, and relevant legislation. Proficiency in design software and project management tools is preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external parties. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices. Demonstrated capability to manage and coordinate the efforts of multiple parties. Not the perfect fit?
