To Be Considered, You Must:- Possess relevant trade qualifications (either AQF Certificate III with two years of work experience or AQF Certificate IV, or an equivalent qualification). Have at least three or more years of relevant work experience since earning your qualifications. Be available to work across the week, including weekends. Demonstrate the ability to prioritise, set goals, and follow through with determination. Have a thorough understanding of food safety and HACCP practices. Have experience working with similar cuisine in a professional environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, and other regional specialties, following recipes and ensuring consistent quality. Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Collaborate with other cooks, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety procedures. Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation to ensure they meet the restaurant''s standards. Implement programs to reduce food waste and ensure proper food storage.
