Hamilton Island is seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People, Culture and Development team. In this role, youll partner with hiring managers across a variety of departments to deliver high-quality, end-to-end recruitment outcomes. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, youll play a key role in identifying, engaging, and onboarding candidates who align with Hamilton Islands values of Service, Excellence, Environment, Safety, and Team . This role is based on Hamilton Island with the option to commute daily from nearby Airlie Beach, or work from our Sydney office (St Leonards). Every day is different in this exciting role - you may be interviewing a mechanic one minute, a spa therapist the next, followed by a housekeeping supervisor, pastry chef, or refrigeration technician. With over 350 different roles across the business, you need to be versatile, eager to learn, and able to connect with people from all walks of life. Your responsibilities will include: Manage full-cycle recruitment for a broad range of roles across your allocated portfolio Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and coordinate recruitment activities Screen resumes, conduct interviews (virtual or in-person), and support hiring teams throughout the selection process Draft and manage job advertisements across platforms including SEEK, LinkedIn, and our company website Prepare employment offers and associated documentation while ensuring compliance with company standards Proactively source passive candidates and build strong talent pipelines using a variety of sourcing tools Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience through timely and clear communication Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging talent acquisition strategies About You Youre a confident and adaptable recruiter who thrives on variety and collaboration. You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly, and have a talent for connecting with people. You will also need to be comfortable managing a high volume of open roles simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering a high standard of candidate care. To be successful, you will need: 35 years experience in recruitment (Essential) Experience recruiting for trades roles such as electricians, plumbers and mechanics will be highly regarded Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly Demonstrated understanding of recruitment best practices and compliance requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience using recruitment systems (Desirable) Formal qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (Desirable) Whats in it for you?
