This newly created Receptionist role is your chance to be the Director of First Impressions for a dynamic and innovative construction company thats doing things differently and making some serious waves across Australia. With brand-new, shiny offices in North Sydney , they are now looking for someone who will help shape the vibe of the front desk and grow into the role long term. Its not just about answering the phone and greeting visitors (although youll do that too), its about becoming a central part of a business thats bold, collaborative and seriously down to earth. Youll be joining a core Sydney crew of around 50 people, and a tight-knit support team who will trust and champion you in the role they want you to own it Go and make it your own! What youll be doing (besides running the front desk like a pro): Welcoming clients, visitors, trades, you name it youll be the face people remember Answering and directing calls with clarity and professionalism Booking meetings and keeping the boardrooms humming Helping the EAs with admin overflow think calendar support, travel booking, formatting docs, scheduling Keeping the office (and kitchen!) looking sharp and tidy Handling couriers, mail, office supplies and any small-but-mighty tasks that keep things running Getting involved in team events, celebrations and initiatives youll be driving culture at top speed Your days will vary depending on different business priorities and plans (variety is the spice of life!) but youll always feel like an important part of the bigger picture. What were looking for: Someone confident, capable and naturally warm your people skills and drive to deliver great service matter more than years of experience A go-getter who takes initiative and constantly assess where you can add value (its the small things if you see a coffee spill, a random box in a walkway, you jump to attention) Strong attention to detail, a polished presentation and a how can I help? attitude Bonus points if youve worked on reception or in admin before you see this as a long-term career This is more than just a foot in the door.
