About the role AEMOs Market Registration team facilitates and manages an efficient, effective registration application experience through collaborative, impartial and robust working relationships with stakeholders. This in-depth process is key for anyone wanting to enter and participate in the National Electricity Market (NEM), East Coast Gas Markets and the WA Retail Gas Market. In this role, youll ensure beneficial registration outcomes through a combination of analysis, education, investigation and leadership. You will gain in-depth knowledge of market and registration requirements governed by the National Electricity Rules (NER), National Gas Rules (NGR), and AEMO policy. Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to understand and assist with implementation of regulatory change and other reform initiatives that impact the Market Registration team. With the aim to deliver outcomes that improve the energy markets AEMO operate. What you will be doing Drive the efficient and effective execution of the registration processes. Provide a positive and collaborative application experience by cultivating and maintaining productive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Compile and draft documentation related to the assessment of registration applications. Collaborate with colleagues in the Market Registration team and across AEMO relevant teams to drive reform initiatives and support the implementation of change with Market Registration. Play a key role in delivering seamless system implementations, aligned with AEMO procedures. Identify opportunities for streamlining work practices and improving procedures or other processes. Work with senior team members to develop and implement improvements. What you will bring to the role Tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline, or relevant industry experience. Experience in compliance or regulatory environments, ideally within the energy industry or a closely related field. Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high quality outcomes. Analytical thinker with a talent for identifying core issues and developing practical, evidence-based solutions.
