AEMO has the exciting responsibility to lead and implement a range of reforms required in the NEM as it transitions from a fleet of largely coal fired generation to more variable renewable generation. About the role As part of the NEM Reform Program Industry and Business enablement leadership team, this role will lead a team of engagement, readiness and communications specialists to deliver key engagement, initiative readiness and communications activities required to support AEMO''s activities under the NEM Reform Program to enhance stakeholder relationships and support AEMO and Market participants to achieve their business goals. the role is for 12-month paternity cover What you will be doing Collaboratively develop and lead execution of integrated Change, Readiness and Engagement strategies. Continue to develop and maintain the integrated Engagement, Readiness and Communication frameworks and planning tools to improve efficiency and build and maintain consistency across many projects. Lead the development and execution of whole of program external engagement, readiness and communication plans. Lead a team to provide specialist engagement and communications support and resources to a pipeline of initiatives in developing engagement. Ensure the cadence, smooth operation and coordination of engagement forums, working groups, information sessions and stakeholder communications are aligned and in accordance with the Programs strategic objectives. Partner with the corporate Government and Stakeholder Division to contribute to enterprise-wide engagement and communications strategy and ensure Program and enterprise alignment. What you will bring to the role Education/ Certificates Tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline Experience and Knowledge Ideally, 5 years experience in the energy sector. Ideally experience will be in a policy, market development, regulatory, stakeholder engagement or account management role. Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performance teams. A good understanding of change and readiness frameworks and the role of stakeholder engagement. Good working knowledge of the design and operation of AEMOs markets, the regulatory framework, and industry structure. Highly proficient in a range of computer packages (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, databases and CRMs) and the ability to write clearly and simply for a wide range of audiences in a variety of styles.
