Description DOG TRAINER & BEHAVIOURIST Yeronga Vet is currently seeking a dedicated Dog Trainer and Behaviourist to become part of our popular clinic based in South Brisbane. About the Role Are you a qualified, experienced and reputable dog trainer and behaviourist confident in providing Puppy Pre-School, Adolescent Training and Behaviour Services across a weekday evening and/or weekend. Who Were Looking For A professional, energetic and engaging style to ensure our clients and their puppies experience an enriching and rewarding session together. Experienced in teaching young puppies 8-15 weeks (pre-school) trust and socialisation skills, cues and commands, introducing toilet and crate training and lead techniques. Passionate about helping owners and puppies learn through both enrichment and obedience training sessions, grooming and nutrition. Creating a happy and healthy bond with adolescent dogs with more advanced training and one on one care throughout their teenage months. Demonstrated experience and understanding of puppy and dog behaviour, nurturing and wellness, distractors and motivators, fear free techniques and positive reinforcement.
