Archer Hire PTY Ltd is a trusted name in the construction and maintenance industry, known for delivering high-quality finishes and reliable service. We are currently looking for two skilled and dedicated Painters to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to protect, maintain, and decorate building surfaces. Erect scaffolding and ladders, and place drop sheets to protect surrounding areas. Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling cracks/holes, and smoothing/sealing. Mix and prepare paints to specific colours using pigments, oils, and additives. Apply paints, stains, and varnishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Hang wallpaper with precision, ensuring pattern alignment and clean edges. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas after completion. Perform minor repairs, including fixing windows and replacing glass. May also lay and repair wall and floor tiles as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as a Painter in construction or renovation settings. High attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications. Physically fit and able to work at heights or in tight spaces. Knowledge of workplace safety practices and proper use of painting materials.
