Factory based in Sumner, QLD! Ongoing Monday- Friday role! Temp to Perm Opportunity! Do you have experience with chainsaws and timber work? Our client is a nationally recognised manufacturer of high-quality playgrounds from hard plastic equipment and park fitness installations to nature-inspired timber play structures. They are currently seeking a Skilled Labourer to join their Sumner, QLD workshop team, with a focus on timber playground production . About the Role: This hands-on position will see you working primarily with large timber components, helping to craft safe and exciting play equipment for parks and communities. Key duties include: Operating 13 ft chainsaws to shape and trim timber Measuring, drilling, cutting, and sanding timber materials Safely handling heavy timber elements as part of the build process Assisting with assembly and finishing of timber playground equipment This role is factory-based , ideal for someone from a landscaping, arborist, or construction background whos ready to transition indoors and apply their practical skills in a structured workshop setting. Youll Need: Experience operating chainsaws A Forklift License and experience is advantageous Background in landscaping, tree work, timber construction, or similar Physical strength and ability to work safely with heavy materials A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Reliability, punctuality, and a team-focused attitude Hours & Pay: Monday to Friday | 7:00am 3:00pm Competitive hourly rate $34 Ongoing long term position with potential for temp to perm Why Join?
