The Role FHR currently have an opportunity for a Spray Painter to join our client that specialises in the bus and coach body manufacturing industry. This opportunity is located in Eagle Farm, 4009, QLD and we have immediate starts available for the candidate who is successful in their application for this position. Benefits: Enjoy a competitive hourly wage of between $51-52 per hour This role offers work between Monday to Friday, operating between the hours of 6am-3pm Elevate your career within the organisation with the potential for full-time employment for the right candidate Experience a workplace culture that prioritises health and safety, ensuring a secure environment for you to perform your duties Key Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and paint bus bodies using spray equipment, ensuring a high-quality and durable finish. Mix and match paints accurately to meet production specifications. Perform panel beating tasks including dent removal, surface repair, and alignment of panels. Sand, fill, prime, and mask surfaces in preparation for painting. Repair and replace damaged panels using welding, grinding, and other metalworking techniques. Read and follow job cards, drawings, and work instructions to meet production targets. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all WHS policies and PPE requirements.
