Opportunity for a Senior Development Manager to join our growing Logistics development team, based in our Sydney CBD office. In this role, you will provide specialist Industrial Development Management expertise throughout the project life cycle and be part of a team delivering world class development projects across NSW. You will use your strong communication skills to navigate a broad stakeholder group and by driving engagement with these key stakeholders, you will ensure support for the Project Vision and agreed business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Financial Performance: Drive project profitability to ensure superior business financial performance. Ensure timely development reporting to Capital Partners, Monthly Internal PCGs, cost reporting and budgeting. Planning Outcomes: Use your negotiation and communication skills to lodge and secure planning and infrastructure approvals. Project Delivery: Manage projects from inception to completion, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of internal and external members and actively monitor project safety. New business: Co-ordinate leasing proposals to new customers, lead negotiations including leases and AFLs, property sale agreements and acquisitions. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with JV partners, Capital Partners and engage with various authorities, industry and community groups in a manner that enhances the image and reputation of Stockland. Leadership: Promote a strong project team culture including diversity. Provide leadership to other team members and help ensure strong team retention. About You We are looking for an experienced Senior Development Manager with tertiary qualifications and relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders and contribute to team success through collaboration, sharing ideas, and assisting team members. To succeed in this role, you will possess: Experience: 7-10 years of Development Management experience with a proven track record in delivering Industrial and logistics projects. Negotiation skills: Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills. Project Management: Have the ability to solve problems, plan ahead and have strong organisational and analytical skills Customer Focus: A strong focus on customer satisfaction including with our tenants, capital partners, joint venture partners and internal business units Proactive: Results-oriented, able to deal with change and ambiguity Qualifications: Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Property, Architecture, Construction, and Planning related disciplines and relevant experience The Stockland Proposition At Stockland we are a community delivering outcomes that benefit the community at large.
