Job Description

Deliver Modern Digital and Data Capability 12 month contract with possible extension Brisbane CBD Queensland Revenue Office (QRO) is a business group within Queensland Treasury. QRO is responsible for collecting state taxes (including duties, payroll tax and land tax), mining and petroleum royalties and administering certain grants. QRO also administers camera detected fines and collect and enforce unpaid fines and court orders through the State Penalties Enforcement Registry. QROs purpose is to support the economic and social wellbeing of Queenslanders through best practice administration of revenue, penalty debt, fines and grants. QROs vision is to be a contemporary revenue organisation delivering trusted administration and excellent client service. Background QRO requires a Program Manager to work closely with QROs Chief Digital and Information Officer to deliver modern digital and data capability to improve revenue collection services. To be successful in this role, the Program Manager should have the following expertise: Web portal and online forms technologies Authentication and identity verification technologies Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms Data analytics architecture and governance It will be beneficial if the worker also has general skills and experience: Enterprise Architecture experience Information Security controls in ISO27001 context Governance and controls for Artificial Intelligence The Role The Program Manager is required to: leverage broad knowledge of enterprise transformation to lead strategic projects that will drive modern digital and data capability within QRO; research, analyse, interpret and present information to Senior Executives ensuring an accurate assessment of project statuses; implement and maintain project planning, governance and reporting structure across projects, ensuring impacts, risks and issues are identified, managed and minimised in line with project scope; build and maintain effective relationships with business partners, internal stakeholders, other government agencies, and the private sector to ensure projects deliver quality outcomes; contribute to monitoring of contract and supplier performance and reporting; and maintain current knowledge of the needs of the department to maximise project benefits. Flexible work arrangements: New workers joining QRO are required to work from the office full-time for the first three months of any contract.
