The company is now scaling up rapidly to meet its bold target of developing 3GW of wind energy over the next five years. The Role Were recruiting a Senior Development Manager to join the team and take ownership of progressing multiple wind projects through the full development lifecycle from early-stage feasibility and planning, through to grid connection and procurement. Youll work closely with the Director of Development, engaging with landholders, consultants, investors and internal stakeholders to deliver projects to ready-to-build status. Key Responsibilities: Lead wind farm projects across planning, environmental approvals, resource assessment, grid connection and procurement. Manage key external relationships including landholders, communities, consultants, OEMs and investors. Take commercial ownership of projects including budget oversight and Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE) analysis. Support turbine selection in collaboration with the commercial team and OEM partners. Coordinate consultants for key development deliverables including grid studies and planning approvals. Your Background: A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, environmental science, planning, or commerce. Experience in renewable energy development or a closely aligned sector (e.g. wind engineering, investment, or environmental planning). Strong stakeholder management skills, including direct experience working with landowners, government, and technical consultants. Demonstrated ability to solve problems and drive projects forward independently. Familiarity with the Australian energy market and the challenges of grid connection. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
