A refreshed strategic direction will be co-developed in the second half of 2025, and the addition of new Board members is a key part of building the capability needed to drive long-term growth, innovation, and social impact.About the BoardThe Board operates with a strong sense of integrity, purpose, and unity. It functions as a collaborative and values-led group, committed to effective governance and shaping a meaningful future for the organisation and its stakeholders.As part of its commitment to strengthening capability and diversity of thought, the Board is expanding to include two new Directors. We are also seeking individuals who may be interested in supporting future Board succession planning for the roles of Chair or Deputy Chair.What Were Looking ForWe are seeking two Non-Executive Directors who bring strategic insight, governance acumen, and a shared passion for the aged care and community services sector.Specifically, we are looking for:One Director with strong experience in Finance and RiskOne Director with deep expertise in Industrial Relations / Human ResourcesWe also welcome applications from individuals with:Medical or clinical backgrounds, and/orExperience in aged care, health, or complex human servicesYou BringA sound understanding of Directors legal, ethical, fiduciary, and financial responsibilities.Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute meaningfully to the development of a new organisational strategy.Financial literacy and confidence in assessing business performance and sustainability.A strong grasp of governance, compliance, and risk oversight in regulated sectors.Leadership experience in people, culture, or organisational change.Desirable BackgroundsAged care, healthcare, or social services experience.Clinical, nursing, or medical leadership expertise.Previous board or senior governance experience in NFP or regulated environments.QualificationsTertiary qualifications in business, HR, healthcare, or a related field.Completion of the AICD Company Directors Course (or equivalent) is highly regarded.AICD membership (or willingness to obtain).RemunerationThis is a remunerated Non-Executive Director position.
