You are looking at a highly ranked leader in the energy efficiency segment who install and commission projects to facilities and homes nation wide. Their specialty ranges from solar, energy auditing, heating and cooling, electrification and much more.They are specialists in providing both project installation and energy savings certificates in LGCs, STCs, ESCs, VEECs and much more - they create and trade all types of energy certificates, which is what this role oversees. On top of that, they are also a proud manufacturer of hardware and products so the brand are diversified with offices nationally and are on and exciting curb of growth year on year keeping them at the top of the market.The position:This role is theNational Head of Complianceand is a key role working closely with top management in the company. You will be overseeing the regulatory compliance for the brand, oversee a compliance manager and admin staff, identify risk and ensure quality assurance, stay on top of market regulations and ensure high quality creation of certificates and claims for all energy projects.Some key responsibilities will include:Lead the regulatory compliance and quality assuranceEnsure the businesses strategy is in line with industry code and lawOversee the creation of energy savings certificates for all statesEnsure the business is operating within regulatory guidelinesEnhance and improve processes and proceduresMonitor changes to regulations or laws in various verticalsEnsure quality assurance and accurate data for all claimsManage and identify risk and develop corrective plansIdentify and correct issues on compliance and qualityMake sure the compliance staff, audit and admin team are efficientLiaise with installers and partners at times for project needsHandle audit processes from the regulators and gov departmentsEnsure pass rate for audits are met to the highest degreeHandle accreditations and licencing renewals for the companyDisqualify claims or lodgements where data and evidence is incorrectKeeping company goals maintained with time frames and processesThis role includes some unique benefits such as:Salary negotiable on experience $120,000 - $150,000 + super2 or 3 days WFH flexibility, and 2 or 3 working from the officeBrand over 15 years established with an amazing track recordHaving a dedicated Compliance team under you, full time & fully trainedIncredible leadership team and managers in the businessAbility to step in to an executive role effecting real change in a brandA vibrant modern company culture with genuine valuesState of the art operational models & project delivery methodsAbility to grow and move up within the brand over timeFull spectrum energy company offering multitudes of solutions and productsRole can be based NSW or VICThe experience necessary:You must have Senior level experience from the energy industry in Compliance, Analysis, Risk or Regulatory Management with the ability to stay on top of national regulations, compliance processes and risk profiles.Candidates with experience on the regulator side such as from IPART, ESC, VEU or other Energy Regulator areas would be suitable as well, or if you have experience in engineering and analytics within energy markets like solar.
