The successful candidate will be supporting the day-to-day requirements of the APAC payroll function. They will assist the Senior Co-Ordinator in the preparation and execution of the payrolls for each of the countries within the APAC region, ensuring that Employees are paid correctly, on time and that all tax/legal requirements are adhered to within the deadlines set.ResponsibilitiesInstruct payroll providers with new employees, terminations, adjustments every month in each of APAC countries (Including but not limited to Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore)Performing ad hoc analysis pro-actively or as directed, to provide performance insights that aid growth and focus appropriate resource allocationDevelop strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of communications and resolution of issuesLiaising with internal departments, employees and external payroll providersHandling payroll related queries from employees and other departmentsAssist with payroll reconciliations where required by the Finance TeamAssist with reporting requests from the business.Carry out ad hoc tasks as requested to support the team.What Will Help You SucceedAt least 3 years experience in supporting large regional payroll functionsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience of working collaboratively and influencing across multiple stakeholder groupsSelf-starter with the ability to work with limited supervisionExcellent customer service skillsNetSuite experience is desirableGood conceptual ability, communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent analysis/problem solving skillsAdvanced Excel SkillsAbility to work under pressure and multi-task while exhibiting strong interpersonal skills.AttributesCustomer Focus: Investigates and takes action to identify and meet partners and customers current and future needs.
