This process may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise within the Department and across the WA public sector in the next 12 months from the initial date of appointment.The Freedom of Information (FOI) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and integrating cross-departmental advice on complex freedom of information issues for senior management. The FOI Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating FOI processes for the Department consistent with the requirements of FOI legislation.To be successful for this position, you need to demonstrate:Experience in coordinating Freedom of Information processes including the preparation of reports, briefings, and correspondence.Research and analysis skills including applying legislation to assist in the preparation of recommendations for senior management on complex FOI matters.Experience in consulting and liaising with internal and external stakeholders on complex FOI matters.Demonstrate the behaviours within the leadership context of Personal Leadership as outlined below.Core leadership behaviours outlined in Leadership Expectations are applicable to this role and should be demonstrated in the context of Personal Leadership.
