We have an exciting opportunity for a Lifestyle Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Cooinda Lodge.The Lifestyle Coordinator at Cooinda Lodge plays a vital role within the Aged Care Team, contributing to the overall wellbeing of residents. This position is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of tailored lifestyle programsboth group and individualwithin the Residential Aged Care Facility.These programs are carefully designed to promote independence, engagement, and quality of life, incorporating a range of therapeutic, social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and physical activities to meet the diverse needs of residents.If you have experience in aged and dementia care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with older people, wed love to hear from you!Our preferred candidate will have:Certificate IV in Leisure and HealthHas a genuine empathy and respect for older peopleHas a sound knowledge and understanding of aged and dementia care, and associated standardsHas an ability to work alongside all levels of staffExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenExperience working in an Aged Care Residential Facility, preferably in overseeing Leisure and LifestyleExperience working with volunteersIMPORTANT:Some roles in the healthcaresector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies).
