A owner-operated live music venue in the heart of the Karratha CBD, trading 4 nights a week from midday to midnight. The venue includes 2 bars and a large alfresco area. We are seeking 2 new Food & Beverage Managers to start within the next few months (open to discussion with suitable applicants). You will oversee bar operations and report directly to the owners. This position requires a dedicated, experienced individual with excellent customer service and management skills.Karratha is one of the largest and fastest-growing towns in northern Western Australia, known as Munjaree the heart of the West Pilbara Coast. Its central location makes it ideal for exploring nearby attractions such as Millstream-Chichester National Park, Karijini National Park, Dampier Archipelago, Point Samson Peninsula, the Burrup Peninsula, and the Ningaloo Reef, just 350 km to the east.About YouProven experience in a similar hospitality role.WA Approved Manager and Food Safety Supervisor certificates (or willingness to obtain).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure, and multitask.Strong leadership skills to read the room, manage staff and patrons.Effective time management, communication, and computing skills.Availability for late nights and weekends.Positive attitude towards customers and staff, with a focus on upholding venue standards.Punctual, well-presented, and honest.Minimum 2 years bar experience with cocktail skills.The Role4-day workweek (45 hours), no public holidays!Sunday to Tuesday off every week.Minimum 12-month commitment.Must hold WA Approved Managers card and Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willing to obtain).Manage a small team, ensure high customer service standards, and maintain venue reputation.Oversee staff training, approve timesheets, order stock, and manage stocktakes.Handle special events, promotions, and statutory compliance.Lead by example, manage cash and alcohol handling, and perform opening/closing procedures.TasksPlan menus with chefs, organize functions, and manage purchasing within budget.Maintain stock and financial records, ensure health and safety compliance.Assess customer satisfaction, supervise staff, and assist with reservations and guest interactions.How do your skills match this job?Application Questions:What is your right to work in Australia?Years of experience in training & development?Years as a duty manager?People management experience?Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate?Customer service experience?Current RSA certificate? #J-18808-Ljbffr
