Commercial Marine Group (CMG) delivers a range of construction and occupational diving services, specialising in civil construction both onshore and offshore. Core projects include pile remediation and inspection services, with extensions to ROV operations, decommissioning, salvage, wharf/mooring maintenance, water asset & reservoir maintenance, scour protection, and mooring services.The CMG team is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its new branch in Fremantle, Western Australia. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil construction marine activities, either onshore or offshore. Reporting to the Director, you will oversee daily operations and personnel, manage projects, and ensure the effective deployment of resources (plant and people) for successful project delivery.CMG places a high priority on safety and professionalism; therefore, applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to these values.All applicants must hold current:Tertiary qualification in engineering or project management (desirable, but experience is also highly regarded)Occupational diving qualification, or previous qualificationConstruction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)Driver''s LicenceHighly desirable to hold:Coxswain/marine licenceHRWLThe successful candidate should demonstrate experience in:Managing a range of subsea construction worksWorksite safety, risk assessment, and adherence to workplace health and safety guidelinesWorking in accordance with NOPSEMA, ADAS, and relevant legislation (AS2299) related to commercial divingManaging people and plant effectively and legallyLeading a team professionally and safelyAdditionally, CMG requires the candidate to have access to a CMG vehicle for work purposes.This position is ideal for a local Fremantle resident or someone planning to relocate here.
