With a focus on proactive and professional support, we are committed to delivering high-quality and trustworthy service.We are seeking motivated and reliable Trade Assistants to join our growing team at our CAIRNS location.Responsibilities:Assist tradespeople with various tasks such as maintenance, repairs, and installationsFollow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with PPE requirements in an industrial environmentCollaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goalsUtilize hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced professionalsMaintain cleanliness and organization of work areasAdhere to project schedules and meet deadlinesAttend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledgeSkills:Strong work ethic with the ability to work 40+ hours per weekKnowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage in an industrial settingExcellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environmentPrevious experience using hand tools or power tools preferred but not requiredPossess an OHS Construction Induction (White Card)Qualifications:To be considered for this role, applicants must have:Availability for an immediate startOwn reliable transport and valid driver''s licenseLegitimate Australian working rights to be considered for this opportunityGriffin Marine Services is dedicated to providing a safe and rewarding work environment while supporting equal employment opportunities.
