The role involves 38 hours per week with rotating shifts between 10am-9pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional rostered days on weekends.What youll do as a Graphic Artist:The Graphic Artist supports the Video Graphics department by providing design services to the Network 10 newsroom and other divisions. The role involves liaising with Producers and Reporters to help communicate stories effectively through graphics. It requires effective communication, excellent time management, and the ability to meet tight deadlines with high-quality graphics production.Functions include:Producing 2D/3D static and animated graphics based on requests from Producers and Reporters, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.Leading shifts by attending editorial meetings, managing workloads, liaising with Executive Producers, and quality-checking graphics.Training junior designers to develop their skills.Working on projects such as graphics packages, themed elements, and templates.Providing general team administrative support as needed.What were looking for in a Graphic Artist:High organizational skills and problem-solving ability.Professional communication skills and stakeholder management.Attention to detail and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Media Encoder) and Microsoft Office.Knowledge of Vizrt, 3D, and programming is an advantage.A fast learner with initiative, planning skills, and the ability to multi-task and follow directions.Paramount values diversity and inclusion, welcoming applications from all backgrounds regardless of race, colour, sex, religion, nationality, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
