The Workforce Connections Coordinator Education and Care plays an important role in creating collaborative relationships across the Education and Care (EC) sector, as well as with the broader community and government stakeholders. This position will support engagement activities, ensuring that voices from all parts of the sector are heard and valued.A key responsibility of the role is to support the successful implementation of theEarly Years and School Age Care (EYSAC) Workforce Strategy (2021 and beyond). This involves working closely with stakeholders to co-design and deliver innovative, sector-led approaches that address workforce needs, promote professional growth, and create sustainable pathways for workforce development. The Connections Coordinator will help identify opportunities for collaboration, amplify local and regional initiatives, and contribute to shaping a thriving EC sector that meets the needs of children, families, and communities.The position will be part of the Workforce Development Initiative team, working to support the EYSAC Workforce Connections Program.About UsEarly Childhood Australia (ECA) is the national peak body for early childhood in Australia.
