This vital role supports the Director of Boarding in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the boarding house, contributing to a safe, positive, and enriching experience for all of our boarders.The Boarding House operates 24/7 during term time and evening and sleepover duties are required as part of this role.Key Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day functions of the boarding house, including record-keeping, communication, and logistical coordinationOversee the scheduling and coordination of boarding house activities, events and excursionsAssist with the welfare and pastoral care of boarders, ensuring their needs are met and providing support as requiredCoordinate with internal departments (e.g. catering, maintenance, health care) to ensure seamless service delivery within the boarding houseManage boarding house resources, including inventory, supplies, and facility requirementsSkills and Expectations:Exceptional interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated high-level organisational and prioritisation skillsUpholding strict confidentialityCurrent Certificate in Duty of Care (Australian Boarding Schools Association - ABSA)Current First Aid qualifications including anaphylaxis and asthma training, Mental Health First AidCurrent Australian Driver''s LicenseA detailed Role Statement is available on our website when you click through to apply online.You will be required to support the Christian ethos of the College.You will be required to provide a Working With Children Check Clearance Number and date of birth.The School will consider applications as they are received and therefore we encourage you to submit your applications as soon as possible.
