Our mission is to have A safer, smarter system with a skilled and supported workforce, that enables people in our care to make better decisions''.The Security and Intelligence Division within Corrections Victoria provides a range of state-wide security-related, emergency management, and intelligence services. The Security and Intelligence Division consists of the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, the Security and Emergency Services Group (including the Emergency Management Unit), the Security Standards Unit, Electronic Monitoring Services and the Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit.About The RoleThe Business Services Manager reports to the General Manager, Electronic Monitoring Services providing strategic and operational support. This includes oversight of payroll services, planning, training coordination, budget and financial management, facility management, procurement, and human resources. The role manages the divisions Human Resources and Finance team and serves as a key conduit between the division''s contract managers and the Procurement and Contracts and Infrastructure Branch, ensuring streamlined communication, advice and alignment on contract-related matters.The Business Services Manager also develops complex briefs and reports to support informed decision-making, works with divisional leaders to develop workforce planning and development products and solutions, leads projects related to the HR portfolio and provides project support to the Office of the Assistant Commissioner as required. Travel to other CV locations may be necessary to support the divisions work.Some Of Your Duties Will IncludeLead and motivate diverse functional teams responsible for various business services functionsManage the effective strategic planning and delivery of corporate and business support servicesResponsible for the delivery of timely, comprehensive, tailored budget and financial performance monitoring reportsManage, supervise and co-ordinate the divisions Human Resources team including the planning and prioritising of workTo learn more about this role before applying, please read the attached position description.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Knowledge of the Victorian Public Service Purchasing Framework and procurement.Ability to develop complex briefs and reportsExceptional leadership and time management skillsStrong stakeholder management skills including the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships across various business unitsQualifications/requirementsQualifications in finance or business management or human resources is desirableThis role may require travel across prison and Security & Intelligence Division locations.How To ApplyPlease click the Apply button on this advertisement.
