Housing Supervisor, Potential for Managerial position in future.About the roleAs the Housing Supervisor at Hedley Homes, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of high-quality residential & commercial developments in the Atherton Tablelands area. This dynamic, contract-based position offers the potential for progression into a managerial role in the future, providing a possible career growth opportunity for the right applicant.What you''ll be doingSupervising and coordinating the work of construction crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standardsLiaising with contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to address any issues and maintain smooth project deliveryMonitoring site safety and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standardsProviding guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environmentIdentifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of construction best practicesAssisting with the planning and scheduling of construction activitiesPreparing detailed progress reports and documentation as requiredOrdering & delivering of materials & on-site labour tasks, when requiredWhat we''re looking forSignificant experience (5+ years) within the construction industry, preferably in residential housing/developmentsStrong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and industry regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teamsProficient in project management, problem-solving and decision-makingDemonstrated commitment to workplace health and safetyAdaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentSomeone motivated & enthusiastic to complete structured time frames, progression & continued learningWhat we offerAt Hedley Homes, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
