We work with exciting global brands across FMCG, DIY and consumer electronics.About the RoleWe are currently looking for a skilled Territory Manager to join our team based in Perth to partner with our valued Clients in the DIY segment to help drive sales and business growth of their products in a highly competitive market.You will be a strategic and operationally minded professional, responsible for field operations within WA calling on Bunnings & Independent retailers, whilst also managing a team of merchandisers.Key functions of the role include:Lead and manage a team of merchandisers servicing Bunnings and independent Hardware outletsEnsuring your team are motivated and engaged via effective communication and regular feedback.Awareness of the current major retailer environmentImplement the agreed customer plan through field operationsProject management and attention to detailEfficient communication with all levels of stakeholdersEnsure territory call rates meet targets.Key Selection Criteria:Retail/Sales/Territory Management experienceEvidence of managing projects, sales budgets and strategic planningExperience in Territory/ Store based profitability managementCustomer relationship managementStrong people management and coaching abilitiesStrong understanding of KPIS and their impact on the business, as well as the ability to strategically drive this with all teamsThe ability to drive a positive culture & one team environmentSelf-motivated & strong communicatorThe successful candidate has the potential to progress their career beyond this role through coaching and mentoring from senior managers.
