Successful candidates will be a part of our Safer, Smarter Infrastructure team, if you are ready to take on these key roles, apply now!Main duties of the roleUndertake research and implementation projects for international, federal, state, and local government agenciesApply first principles thinking to projects and provide innovative solutions to our wide range of diverse clients.Challenge the status quo in road asset engineering, vehicle technology, understanding of human behaviours, and societal culture as they affect road safety outcomes.Have awareness of infrastructure risk assessments related to transport safety including Road, Rail, Ports and Airports infrastructureSupport or lead the delivery of research and/or advisory projects for clientsProject manage all technical aspects of research and advisory projects under your control.Develop and support the implementation of new and effective transport safety policies and technical guidance for industry practitionersDevelop new and foster existing client relationships to grow advisory and research-based projects and programsRepresent NTRO through publicising NTROs work through public forums and technical publications.Junior Level (Based in Melbourne or Sydney)Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science or similar tertiary degree3-5 years of experience within the transport industry including consultancy or local governmentAssist with project delivery on a range of different projects with clients across ANZA willingness to lead and manage small or simple research and/or advisory projectsDeveloping interest in and understanding of one or more of engineering practices, data analytics and data technology as they pertain to road safety and design guidelines and standardsSound technical writing skills with excellent verbal and written communication skillsDeveloping stakeholder engagement, interpersonal and project management skillsSenior Level (Based in Sydney)Engineering or Science degree as a minimum.
