Job Description

Our client, an industry-leading and 100% Australian owned manufacturing company serving the education sector, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their expanding team.The position will see you take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the production facility. With effective planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, and organizing, the Production Manager will ensure the entire factory operates efficiently, effectively, and most importantly, safely.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the general day-to-day production activities to ensure company policies and procedures are followed.Liaise with stakeholders, including customers, client managers, and suppliers, to provide efficient and effective operations to achieve company objectives.Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed and legal obligations are met.Contribute to short- and long-term organizational planning and strategy as part of the management team.Maintain processes required for the Quality Management System.Assess and manage processes to continuously improve lean manufacturing, quality, and productivity.Estimate costs, determine staffing requirements, review employee performance, and identify training needs.Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.Lead, set, and manage a high-performance culture.Supervise and motivate a team of workers.Review employee performance and monitor key performance indicators.Contribute to the development of new products and designs as part of the product development team.Skills & Experience:A diploma and/or 5-10 years experience in manufacturing and logistics (preferred).Full understanding of OH&S requirements and obligations.Strong problem-solving skills.Lean manufacturing experience (preferred).Decision-making and sound business judgment.Report writing and presentation skills.Confident computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).A positive and self-motivated attitude.How to apply:If you are eager to join one of Australia''s leading organizations and seize this remarkable opportunity, please apply now. #J-18808-Ljbffr
