We are seeking a passionate and experienced Site Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at our Bairnsdale site, focusing on performance, continuous improvement, and fostering a safety-first culture. About the Role The Site Operations Manager will be a key member of our Site Steering Team, responsible for leading operational excellence while maintaining a strategic view of the sites capabilities and future direction. You will ensure our people, systems, and processes align with One Harvests Production System (OPS) and Zero Harm goals, promoting accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Deliver daily production plans safely, efficiently, and within budget. Lead, develop, and mentor operations teams across multiple functions. Champion food safety, Zero Harm initiatives, and compliance with HACCP and GMP standards. Drive year-on-year improvement through continuous improvement, automation, and waste reduction projects. Collaborate across departments to ensure supply chain performance and customer satisfaction. Maintain workforce capability through people and capability initiatives. Promote adherence to the One Harvest Way of Working and SPIRIT values. Success Metrics Achievement of site KPIs in safety, quality, service, cost, and people development. Improvements in OEE and operational margins through structured CI efforts. Enhanced food safety performance, yield, and service delivery (>98% DIFFOT). High team engagement, capability, and internal talent mobility. Strong vendor and stakeholder relationships, positive audit outcomes. About You You are a resilient, strategic operations leader with: Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG operations. Proven results in people and process optimization. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards. Collaborative approach with influence across functions. Passion for coaching, mentoring, and team development.
