If you are passionate and eager to develop a career in the football industry, this entry-level role is ideal for you. You will work closely with all CAFL clubs, spectators, and stakeholders, becoming an integral part of the competition. You will learn to think on your feet and solve match day issues as they arise, with extensive training on managing community football and the opportunity to apply this knowledge on game day.A Day in the Life ofKey AccountabilitiesResponsible for cash handling and customer service at venue entry points and canteenSet up and lock down the venue for match dayPerform general match day operations and dutiesEnsure clubs provide volunteers for specified roles (e.g., timekeepers, umpire escorts)Collect and forward all reports (Match Manager, Umpires, insurance reports) to the Competition CoordinatorManage any issues that may arise during the matchOur Ideal Team MemberCore CompetenciesStrong verbal, written communication, and public relations skillsGood computer literacy Microsoft Office, Internet, EmailAbility to work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekendsExcellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritizeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamQuickly establish rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and culturesConflict resolution skillsWorking With Children accreditationFirst Aid qualifications (preferred)Knowledge of football in the Northern Territory (desirable, but not essential)Familiarity with AFLNT Rules, Regulations, and League By-LawsKnowledge of relevant policiesCash handling and customer-facing experience (preferred but not essential)Applicants must be 18+ years oldOur CultureFor more about our culture, please visit www.afl.com.au/careers/our-organisationApplications Close: 30 June 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
