Find out more about working at Hornsby Shire Council.About the roleKey responsibilities of the position include;Developing and delivering a broad range of waste related community and stakeholder engagement, education and communications activities, materials, and collateralStrategic planning, research, policy development, project management, data management and reporting activitiesManaging project budgets, consultancies and service providers as requiredAbout youYou will have tertiary degree qualifications in community development, environment, sustainability, natural resource management or demonstrated equivalent experience.A sound working knowledge of local government waste management and resource recovery and the ability to contribute to strategic activities is required.Experience in project management, community engagement, education and communications and the ability to develop a broad range of collateral and support materials is essential.Your ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, creativity and innovation capabilities will be most sought after.
