We''re looking for an experienced and well-rounded Quarry Manager/Mine Manager to oversee operations at our East End limestone mine, located in the Gladstone region. As part of Australia''s largest integrated cement operation, we believe that the foundation of our success starts with quarry management and the mining of raw materials. In this role, you''ll lead your team in safely and efficiently mining the product, while ensuring adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards, including the transport of materials to our Fishermans Landing site.You will hold Site Senior Executive (SSE) responsibility for East End and manage both operational and maintenance activities. As a key leader within our Gladstone operations, you''ll play an integral role in driving both strategic and operational outcomes for the region. Balancing the demands of daily operations with long-term goals, you''ll make decisions that prioritize safety, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. Your ability to quickly identify and resolve challenges, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and inspire your team will be key to making a meaningful impact on the East End site.To successfully lead our operations at our East End mine you will:Promote good SHEQ behaviours and challenge non-compliance. Plan and coordinate resources to identify and control risk and hazards. Ensure good housekeeping, environmental and community consideration is maintainedManage day to day work responsibilities for direct reportsContinuously review costs and participate in monthly and other periodic forecasting sessions and reporting requirements.
