You are responsible for the logistics of getting the goods in another country and for ensuring the goods meet the required standards of the importing country.The secondary role will include organising work schedules and issuing shipping instructions to ensure delivery times and locations are co-ordinated. This will also include track and trace management so as to monitor goods at all times.EXPORTNew ExportCheck & update product cost & price with buyer on monthly basis.Request freight charges from forwarding agent. Candidate must be familiar with forwarding agent contacts.Provide quotation to export customers. Candidate must be familiar with freight & other export charges calculation.LegalCreate & follow up on supply agreements with new customers. Facilitate negotiations of terms & conditions between customer & commercial in consultation with legal.Review existing customer agreement if continue or terminate.Customer CodeCreate customer code with finance for account set up.TechnicalRequest overseas requirements for importation from customer, working with supplier & technical manager to provide.Order & Supply ChainRequest po from customer for export shipment, working closely with supply chain on stocks readiness/availability.Make sure product received at distribution center & ready for export.Export scan sales & export processMultichannel team to perform scan sales.Prepare shipping document to customer. Candidate must be familiar with preparation of relevant shipping documents.Submit documents for customs clearance. Candidate must be familiar with end to end process.FinanceWork closely with finance account receivable (ar) to check payment receivables from customer.IMPORTNew product review & selection - end to end processCommunicate with group business units to request potential products for review by trading team.Work closely with trading team to identify potential products for importation.Communicate with buisiness unit to obtain detailed product information (ti hi, case size, pallet loading, etc).Calculate landed cost - candidate must be familiar with landed cost calculation for importation of goods.Competitor / market price survey - both offline & online.Present & shortlist potential products with Trading Manager / Director.Work closely with buyer to negotiate price & finalize cost with supplier.Prepare & submit NPD form to CSO for presentation to commercial director for final sign off.Prepare & submit essential form to Space Range and Display for planogram.Technical checkWork with Technical Law & Trading to request and check product specification.LegalWork with legal on drafting import agreement with legal.Send draft agreement to supplier (direct supply).Follow up with supplier for signed copy / facilitate negotiation on amendments to terms & conditions between supplier/legal/commercial till final copy is signed off.Request company registration documents from supplier for vendor code activation by finance.
