Please view the positions description available here:What we are looking for:Expertise and knowledge required include:A strong knowledge and understanding of the drivers/causes of family violence and child and family vulnerability, as well as the child and family services and/or broader social services sector and their fundamental practices and theories is required.Demonstrated experience in leading practice within complex service delivery contexts, particularly multi-disciplinary and multi-agency approaches to the provision of services to vulnerable children, families and diverse communities is required.The role of the Practice Leader requires specialist knowledge and skills and someone who can:Lead integrated practice and facilitate decision makingProvide specialist and advanced practice leadership and support to practitioners by:Build capability of practitioners to deliver integrated functions and services responding to family violence, perpetrator interventions, and child and family development, and functioning in line with the Hubs Service Model, Integrated Practice Framework and relevant legislative frameworks (including the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005).Provide sound judgement and authoritative advice on risks, priorities, accountability, and practice matters to the Hub team, and where relevant the Hub Manager and/or Hub relevant Hub governance groups.In partnership with other Practice Leaders, support clinical and practice professional development and training of practitionersQualificationsProfessional clinical experience and relevant qualification(s) in social work, psychology or a related discipline is essential.What you need to know:A salary at SCHADS level 8Based in the Orange Door HubBased at MorwellPart-time roleAccess to discounted health insurance, free Employee Assistance, Salary Packaging and a range of other employment benefits supporting your physical and mental healthWorking hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday on site which is great for work life balanceWe are involved across multiple Orange Door HubsYou can draw upon the experience of others to set you up for successOur Rainbow Tick AccreditationPlease Note: It is mandatory for the successful applicant to hold a current Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
