Period of AppointmentPermanentHours per fortnight73.50 hours per fortnightDutiesThe Family and Sexual Violence Command has teams statewide comprising of specialist investigators, investigation support officers and comprehensive support services for victim-survivors of family and sexual violence. As part of the Command Arch centres provide support and services for child and adult victim-survivors of sexual violence. Services are co-located to provide support based on the choice of the victim-survivor and in accordance with legislation.Investigation support officers are a critical component within investigative teams whose objective is achieving strong outcomes in matters that are sensitive and can be complex, fast-paced and dynamic. All staff are trained in trauma-informed practice.Essential RequirementsPre-Employment ChecksThe Head of the State Service has determined that a person nominated for appointment to this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
