Due to projected increase in build volumes, we are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Production Draftsperson based in our Mount Waverley Head Office.Reporting to the National Drafting Manager, your responsibilities will include:Produce construction drawings using Revit / Autocad software including site plans, preliminary working drawings, building variations and final construction plans.Manage external drafting contractors and provide regular feedbackProduce required drawings to obtain all relevant permitsEnsure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy and check every job prior to each stage of the workflow processComplete drawings within agreed time framesTo produce accurate plans for the energy rating assessorClearly communicating energy rating requirements via a workflow memo, prior to contract preparationMaintain a thorough knowledge of the company REVIT/AUTOCAD software and company procedures associated with REVIT/AUTOCAD usage; andLiaising with consultants, suppliers and internal departments.Metricon will offer you:Work on national projectsOur team has diverse skills and includes designers, draftspeople, estimators, town planning and permits managers, and contract administratorsWere passionate about social, affordable and accessible housingFree Onsite Parking at our Mount Waverley Head Office - Just off the Monash Freeway at Blackburn Road so easy to get toBe supported by a Management Team that has a Culture Where U MatterMetricon Homes Australia largest, and HIA Voted #1 Home Builder for the 9th Consecutive YearWe promote mentoring and provide genuine opportunities for role progression, along with a competitive salary, and salary package opportunitiesAttractive housing discounts on our award-winning homesYou Matter!
