Based on Sunshine West Head Office, our warehouse is the core of our operations, and we are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to take charge.The RoleThis is a hands-on leadership role and is responsible for planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services across 5 Groeneveld-Beka warehouses across Australia and New Zealand.ResponsibilitiesPlan & manage logistics, transportation & customer service across 5 warehousesLead Warehouse and logistics team to optimize transportation and warehouse services for inventory.Manage kit building processes to meet internal and external customer requirements.Responsible for inventory integrity, reconciliation, and cost management of warranty, slow-moving and obsolete itemsOrdering of stockInvestigate and identify root causes for inventory inaccuracies, reconciles inventory balances, and implements process improvements to reduce or eliminate specific inventory discrepanciesProvide training, direction and advice to Warehouse and logistics team members.Proficient in performing all functions related to receiving, shipping, inventory control, warehouse management and productionManage all aspects of purchasing function including measurement of vendor performance and appropriate use of safety stock, reorder points, purchasing and sales forecasts to ensure on time inbound materialsResponsible for freight term negotiations, freight company supplier selections and performance managementNegotiate pricing, terms and manage supplier performanceSupervise production department, orders, efficiencies and schedulingUphold OH&S compliance and ensure a clean, safe warehouse environmentAbout YouStrong knowledge of supply chain managementInternational shipping experience and knowledgeUnderstanding and comprehension of a full sales cycle from order entry to deliveryInventory management experienceKnowledge of production cycle and experience with managing a production environmentAbility to motivate and lead staffImprove processesAdvanced level Microsoft office, particularly Excel and quick to pick up new systemProduction experience in a supervisory capacityWhat We OfferAttractive remuneration packageCompany phone and laptopIncreased superannuation contributions based on years of serviceOpportunity to self-learn with online & instructor led courses in Timken UniversityFriendly and cohesive team environmentEmployee Assistance ProgramOn-site parkingIf you are excited by this fantastic opportunity and have what it takes, then click APPLY!Curious about Groeneveld-BEKA?
