When you come to work at ING, youre joining a team where individuality isnt just accepted, its encouraged.In this 12-month role as Manager, Enterprise and ESG Risk, youll join ING Australias Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and ESG function within the Risk Management team. Youll support the development and maintenance of key infrastructure that provides a holistic, top-down, enterprise view of significant and emerging risks that impact INGs strategic objectives.Were looking for someone with exposure across a number of risk classes. Our ideal candidate has experience across enterprise risk management in a banking context, with local Australian experience essential. Youll also have experience designing or building risk frameworks and processes (not just executing). ESG or Climate Risk is nice to have and would be seen as highly advantageous.The role will have the opportunity to develop deep expertise in banking risk management and governance. It requires a holistic overview of the banking landscape across retail and wholesale banking and all risk management functions.Youll be adept at bringing Stakeholders of all levels along the journey from concept and design to implementation of a new framework. Youll be right at home building relationships, engagement and developing buy-in with business stakeholders, other Risk Management functions, internal audit, Executive Committee members, external peers, regulators and auditors.Ready to make an impact?What youll doLead the localisation (fit for purpose locally) and implementation of the ING Group ESG Risk Framework, including the expansion from an initial focus on climate risks to wider ESG risks.Assist in the development, execution and ongoing enhancement of key ERM processes that support the identification and management of risks - ensure alignment with underlying frameworks and policies across Risk and where relevant, the ING Group.Support ongoing refinements and updates to key risk infrastructure components Risk Management Approach, Risk Strategy, Risk Appetite Statement and Risk Governance artefactsCollaborate across line 2 and line 1 Risk Management to ensure alignment and effective risk management across the frameworksFacilitate proactive risk management by providing insights from ERM processes to design measures to navigate risks and emerging trends that impacts the Banks strategyManage ad-hoc risk projects that develop and mature the Banks risk management capability and processes, including responding to prudential changesExecute (emerging) risk identification and assess their impact on the overall strategy of the bank.Contribute to thematic reviews or deep dives into emerging risks to assess materiality and potential impact in ING.What were looking forExperience maintaining frameworks, drafting policies, procedures, and developing and implementing new processes and systemsKnowledge of specific prudential requirements including CPS220 and CPG229 would be regarded as highly advantageousAbility to connect qualitative/subjective data sources to draw themes and insightsMinimum 5-7 years practical experience in a risk and compliance function in the financial services industryProven experience in creating high quality management informationAnalytical skills ability to proactively identify and diagnose risk related issues quickly and provide business-oriented solutionsAbility to negotiate and influence stakeholders across all levels of management (both internally and externally), make recommendations and achieve mutually beneficial outcomesWhats in it for you?Drop everything and learn with over 16,000 professional and personal development courses to choose fromDiscounted ING Health InsuranceAn additional Rest Day to support your wellbeingAn IMPACT day to volunteer on approved sustainability activityAbout UsAt ING, we want to make life simpler and more worthwhile for everyone who banks with us, for the people who work with us, and the community at large, too.When you come to work at ING, youre joining a team where individuality isnt just accepted, its encouraged.
