As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for supporting plumbers and trade professionals with expert advice, driving sales across multiple channels within the water management space, and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in our day-to-day operations and contribute to the continued growth of our family-run business.What you''ll be doingHandling sales via our online store, email, phone, and over-the-counterAssisting plumbers in the field by diagnosing faulty valves and recommending spare parts or replacement optionsPicking and packing orders with accuracy and efficiencyMaintaining inventory accuracy and assisting with stock controlBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clientsProviding expert advice on our range of backflow prevention productsCollaborating with the wider team to improve customer experience and streamline operationsIdentifying and capitalising on cross-selling and upselling opportunitiesWhat we''re looking forExperience in the plumbing industry (essential)Proven track record in a sales or customer-facing roleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to troubleshoot and provide technical advice to trade professionalsOrganised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasksFamiliarity with inventory systems or POS software (preferred)A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to grow within the businessWhat we offerAt Backflow Central, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
